Cali Accommodations

This really depends on your taste and budget. Accommodations can run several hundred dollars down to several tens of dollars daily during the high season. The best choice is one that meets your needs and offers value.

Several accommodations are specific in the market they serve well - adults-only, naturalists, the yachtsmen, families or small groups, honeymooners, beach/watersport aficionados, nightlife/casino enthusiasts. Remember - one can stay anywhere and easily travel to another property or area to meet your vacation goals. Not one property has everything mentioned - most have two or three. Since most activities involve beaches - keep in mind that some of the best beaches are not in front of hotels and are in fact remote public beaches. There are exceptions. Also, some beaches are noted to be calm while others offer moderate to high surf. Check the Virtual Tour for more specifics. Remember - all beaches are considered public - even in front of hotels. Sunday is family/leisure day for native Islanders - a good opportunity to meet people.

Also consider an apartment, condominium, house, or villa rental. Some are beachfront. Others are positioned on hillsides offering spectacular views of the sea or neighboring islands. These accommodations can be especially cost effective off-season and for larger groups or families. Meals may be prepared by provided staff. Fresh foods are readily available in larger supermarkets at reasonable costs.
